Management Reporting Solution Development

Challenge

C.T.Co client had a successful e-business reinsurance solution running in production and as business volume started to increase required insight into its structure in order to identify profitable business segments. Reports had to be provided on per client and market in order to support business development goals. Tight deadlines were set before the project team, since the project was self-funding and it was essential to ensure its sustainability by expanding the profitable business areas and fast time-to-market.

Solution

In order to roll out a working system in a short time frame C.T.Co specialists developed a web-enabled reporting solution based on a commercial reporting tool - Actuate Reporting. Required reports were implemented and tested, and provided to the client for feedback.

Development team then worked closely with client personnel in order to fine-tune the reports based on their feedback. After rolling out a first set of reports into production, and seeing their benefits, client provided requirements for an extended set covering other areas, like customer usage of the system, service-level indicators, process efficiency and others.

Feedback was very positive and reports proved very valuable for effective business development.
