Engagement model
Our engagement model is based on the principles of collaboration, pro-activity and flexibility.
This ensures that proper questions are asked, potential risks and issues are discovered, suggestions for improvement proposed and the client feels that there is a partner to whom he can address his challenges at all times.
The engagement starts with the engagement team coming to visit the client’s site to learn about the project, agree upon expectations and ground collaboration rules. Enough information is gathered in order to prepare a comprehensive project plan, which then serves as a roadmap for project execution.
The focus is to produce visible results as early as possible to build up the trust with the client and provide the ability for the client to assess C.T.Co capabilities.
Once the project is up and running, most of the development work is done at our R&D department.
Project team consists of business and development teams, with business team responsible for defining the product being built and development team implementing the product according to the provided definition. Composition of the teams is dependent upon the project and personnel that client can allocate to the project.
Communication plan is defined as part of the project plan. It outlines the major communication lines. Regular communication is maintained through weekly status report documents sent to project manager on the client side and progress report conference call being held between key people from client side and development team.
Regular face-to-face visits are defined as part of the communication plan in order to ensure cohesiveness of the project team and clarification of the more complex parts of the product being developed.
Our business and system analysts regularly travel to the client site in order to define the functionality to be developed in a joint workshop with the client team. After the workshop, they document the results of the workshop in the specifications and perform knowledge transfer for the rest of the development team.
C.T.Co has a comprehensive secure web-enabled portal enabling effective project coordination between remote sites, which includes such functions as:
- document management
- issue management
- risk management
- task management
- change request management
- problem report management
Access rights are set up appropriately in order to limit access to project data to authorized personnel only.
Also, the tool allows to link items among themselves, providing full transparency and traceability information for the project.
